Hotels should test every guest-facing system before returning upgraded rooms to inventory. This includes verifying hospitality TV functionality, casting or streaming performance, Wi-Fi connectivity, thermostat operation, PTAC performance, appliance function, and remote-control availability.
Testing should also include basic guest usability: can a guest easily turn things on, adjust the temperature, connect a device, and use the room without staff help? A room may look finished after installation, but it should not be considered guest-ready until all core systems are confirmed to work together.

Technology should simplify workflows and reduce operational friction.
