The program is available to qualifying commercial and industrial customers served by BGE in Maryland. Equipment efficiencies must be verified through an AHRI certificate, and incentives are available for new qualifying equipment purchases.
Replacing older PTAC units with high-efficiency models can provide several advantages:

Eligible PTAC units can qualify for the following rebates based on cooling capacity and efficiency requirements:

11,000 – 13,999 | 11.4 | $75 per unit |

Energy-efficient PTHP (Packaged Terminal Heat Pump) units are also eligible for the same rebate amounts when minimum EER and COP requirements are met.
