Amana VTAC 9K BTU 30 Amp Heat PTAC 265V - AVH094J50AXXX

The Amana AVH094J50AXXX is a vertical-terminal VTAC heat-pump packaged unit designed for commercial/hospitality environments, guest rooms, suites or lodging installations where closet or shaft-mount installation is preferred rather than a through-wall sleeve. According to published specs, the unit delivers approximately 9,400 BTU/h cooling capacity, and in one listing the heating capacity is listed at ~17,000 BTU/h (electric-heat backup) at 265 V.

It uses refrigerant R-32 (modern, lower global-warming-potential) and features corrosion-resistant blue-fin condenser coils, electrical disconnect, outside-air vent door, self-contained cabinet and is configured for 265 V, 30 Amp service (model “50” suffix indicates ~5 kW electric heat backup) in this variant. With its compact cabinet footprint (roughly 23″ wide × 23″ deep × 32″ high) it fits neatly into a mechanical clutch or vertical shaft rather than through-wall sleeve, offering guest-room wall space savings while delivering full year-round comfort and serviceability.

Key Highlights
