The Hotpoint AHES12D3XXA Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner (PTAC) is a commercial through-the-wall heating and cooling solution designed for hotels, motels, extended-stay properties, senior living communities, and other individually conditioned accommodations. Published cooling efficiency ratings of 10.4 EER at 230V and 10.5 EER at 208V provide a basis for evaluating operating performance, while 600 CFM high-speed and 530 CFM low-speed airflow support effective air circulation. The unit also offers 2.85 pints per hour of dehumidification, helping manage indoor moisture during cooling operation.
The AHES12D3XXA features a streamlined, coverless electronic control panel with an automatically dimming LED display, giving guests convenient access to temperature settings, operating modes, and fan controls. Four selectable temperature-limiting options help hotel operators manage heating and cooling settings, while automatic power recovery, Freeze Sentinel protection, indoor frost control, overheat protection, self-diagnostics, and constant-fan operation support practical day-to-day use and maintenance.
Designed for straightforward installation and replacement, the unit incorporates a slide-in chassis measuring approximately 42.4 inches wide, 16 inches high, and 20.9 inches deep. A factory-attached LCDI power cord with a NEMA 3-20P plug supports installation with the appropriate electrical receptacle and branch circuit. Compatible wall sleeves, exterior grilles, subbases, replacement filters, and remote thermostat accessories are available separately, making the unit suitable for new construction and properly verified PTAC replacement projects.
